As it has been discussed before that we are stranded between past and future.
It is few days back, I met old fellow of mine, who's doing CIVIL Engineering. We were on some chit-chat while he told me a strange thing about humanity, science and countries technology race and difference in their advancement. He told me that America is almost 10 years ahead of a United Kingdom technology. I was shocked to hear it.
I then asked him what do you call a future, and can we be able to know the future before it actually happens. He elaborated by reference of -----------, he says that " If we throw the ball upward, we already know that it will come down and hit the ground, so we know the future of 2 to 3 seconds for this particular thing ", he's explanation made me to keep silence for almost 2 minutes. I kept on thinking about this point.
After thinking about it and it's hidden meaning for awhile, I then realized, this theory is correct substantially, but also it has it's limits. Like we know that the ball will come down, however, it is due to gravity.
But this is not future, we just predicted that ball will come down on base of a frame of reference which is related to the place we are living on, like on EARTH, we are bounded to follow the inertial frame of reference. Out of this World(i.e EARTH) the boundaries of our frame of reference is limited. Like if we throw ball in space it will not come back.
Consider, we through a ball in space out of gravity ( i.e zero gravity ) the ball will never come back, it's motion will be uni-dimensional there, which may or may not be we can call it future.
What is future then?
I've a firm belief that we all work on some extreme complex ALGORITHM, if in a near time, if we would be able to understand that algorithm we can predict the exact future of a particular person. This exact future prediction is called as PRECOGNITION.
