LGBTQ in Pakistan and Joyland Ban

LGBTQ

You may have heard the term "LGBTQ". However, if someone hears this term unexpectedly it might sound a little complex obviously as it is an abbreviation of several terms combined into one. The terms it combines into one include LESBIAN, GAY, BI-SEXUAL, TRANSGENDER, and QUEER. Nonetheless, if the individual-mentioned terms still confuse you, don't worry. I've shared the link to each of the terms separately so you can check each one of them individually.

LGBTQ in Society

The vast spread of LGBTQ is due to the adoption of western culture. This trend has gone viral on Twitter in the third quarter of the year 2022. There has been quite a discussion about this nationwide but no conclusion was made as the bill was passed in favour of the LGBTQ. But the important question is it worth it in the Islam republic of Pakistan?
Well, I had quite a mixed perspective. You can have opposite justification I know but still, I had to present what I think it is. We are adopting the culture of the west, living life against the rules and regulations set by Islam. Quite funny but Islam itself has only 3% of rules that abandons Muslim about certain things. On the contrary, 97% of the religion teaches the morals and ethics which have been adopted by the western people and we are merely living a life of a Muslim. But we call ourselves Muslim because we live in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. I ain't saying that LGBTQ is worth it, and it should be promoted. Nevertheless, the things happening around us are so badly portraited worldwide and adopted by the people in a worthless manner that we don't deserve to be called the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This is what our society is and how LGBTQ is impacting it. The decision has to be yours. I just shared my perspective.

LGBTQ according to Islam

Now let's see the LGBTQ from the Islamic perspective. There are several verses in Holy Quran that explain and justify the fact about the LGBTQ. The following few images show the Islamic Perspective regarding the LGBTQ.

Quran about LGBTQ 1

Quran about LGBTQ 2

#BanJoyLand_BehayaGovt as a Twitter trend.

Joyland has been nominated as Pakistan's entry for Oscar. This movie contains content that promotes LGBTQ which is against Islam as clearly seen in the images above. But the movie has been allowed to play in Pakistani Cinemas. Therefore, on Twitter hashtag against it has been created to stop this. I don't understand where we stand now, Pakistan itself is not the Islamic Republic, and every possible crime and corruption is attempted by us. We even fail to get an honest leader yet (no offence). However, when it comes to this kind of topic everyone becomes sensitive. On one hand, everything is crystal clear to make a decision but when it comes to this nation and things happening around it becomes difficult to make a decision. Still, I would like to conclude this by saying,

Quran about LGBTQ
